The GMAX MD-01S Transistor Modular Snow Helmet is designed for snowmobile riders who want the convenience of a modular helmet without sacrificing warmth, comfort, or visibility. Its easy-to-operate flip-up chin bar allows riders to communicate, take a break, or refuel without removing the helmet, while the push-button release is easy to use even with insulated gloves.

The included anti-fog dual-lens snow shield helps reduce fogging in cold conditions, while the internal Hi-Vis amber drop-down sun shield provides added comfort in changing light conditions. Riders looking for maximum cold-weather performance can also upgrade to an optional electric shield and optional wireless brake light kit.

Inside, the premium SpaSoft™ comfort liner features COOLMAX® CORE moisture-wicking technology to help keep riders dry and comfortable, while charcoal bamboo fibers naturally resist odor-causing bacteria. The removable, adjustable, and washable interior makes it easy to maintain a fresh, comfortable fit throughout the riding season.

An integrated multi-function LED rear safety light increases visibility to riders behind you, while built-in speaker pockets make adding a communication system simple. Complete with a cold-weather breath box, chin curtain, and large eye port for outstanding visibility, the MD-01S Transistor is ready for everything from weekend trail rides to all-day snowmobile adventures.

Sizing Info

The GMAX MD-01S Transistor features an intermediate oval fit designed to accommodate most riders comfortably. A proper fit should feel snug around your head with even pressure and secure cheek pad contact without creating uncomfortable pressure points.

Measure the circumference of your head approximately one inch above your eyebrows and compare your measurement with the GMAX size chart before ordering. The SpaSoft™ comfort liner will conform slightly over time, creating a more personalized fit while maintaining a secure feel.

To find your approximate helmet size, use a soft sewing tape measure. Start at your forehead about one inch above your eyebrows and measure around the largest portion of the back of your head. If you do not have a soft measuring tape, use a string or phone charging cord, then lay it flat and measure it with a ruler.
