The GMAX GM-49Y Drax Youth Helmet is designed to give young riders the comfort, protection, and visibility they need while providing parents with confidence every time they ride. Built around a lightweight poly-alloy shell, the GM-49Y is specifically sized for youth riders to reduce fatigue while delivering dependable DOT-certified protection.

One of the helmet's standout features is its adjustable interior system. The removable, washable liner and cheek pads allow one shell size to be adjusted across three interior sizes, helping the helmet provide a secure fit as your child grows.

The Flow-Thru ventilation system uses forehead intake vents, rear exhaust vents, and internal channeling to continuously circulate fresh air while helping remove heat from inside the helmet. A large eye port provides an excellent field of vision, while the quick-change Maximum Seal face shield is available in both single-lens and anti-fog dual-lens versions to suit different riding conditions.

The GMAX GM-49Y Drax is designed specifically for younger riders with a youth-sized shell and fit. The adjustable interior allows the helmet to grow with your child by accommodating three different interior sizes.

Measure the rider's head approximately one inch above the eyebrows and compare the measurement with the GMAX youth size chart before ordering. A properly fitting helmet should feel snug all the way around the head without creating uncomfortable pressure points.

To find your approximate helmet size, use a soft sewing tape measure. Start at your forehead about one inch above your eyebrows and measure around the largest portion of the back of your head. If you do not have a soft measuring tape, use a string or phone charging cord, then lay it flat and measure it with a ruler.
