Choosing the correct helmet size

Helmet fit is critical to helmet protective performance. The correct helmet size can only be checked and confirmed by physically fitting the helmet to the user. Always try the helmet on in a store, before purchasing it, to be sure you are purchasing the correct sized helmet for you.

Head measurement instructions

Wrap a flexible tape measure around your head approximately one inch above the eyebrows and ears. Use this measurement (in either inches or centimeters) to find your helmet size.

Helmet sizing information

To achieve proper helmet fitment, begin by finding your head circumference size using the method described below. Remember that the helmet size you choose should fit around the crown of your head comfortably with no pressure points. The cheekpads should fit firmly around your face. Once your chin strap is fastened, grab the chin bar of the helmet and move it side to side. Your cheeks should move with the helmet, which should not slide across your face. Different thickness cheekpads can be purchased to obtain the best fit. Ask your dealer or visit www.rideicon.com for more information.

Product Details

The ICON Airform Dark Helmet is crafted with an injection molded polycarbonate shell, providing exceptional strength and durability for riders who demand the best in protection. Its sculpted neck roll enhances comfort during long rides, while the fog-free ICON Optics Shield with Rapid-Release System allows for quick and easy shield changes, ensuring you always have a clear view of the road ahead.

Ventilation is key in any helmet, and the Airform excels with its internal airflow geometry and continuous venting system. This design maximizes airflow, keeping you cool even in the heat of the moment. The innovative Dropshield visor can be deployed easily with an exterior switch, but it’s essential to use it only when the main face shield is fully closed to maintain optimal safety.

Comfort is further enhanced by the removable Hydradry 3-piece moisture-wicking liner, which keeps sweat at bay during intense rides. Additionally, the internal speaker pockets are designed to accommodate ICON's R.A.U. Bluetooth device, allowing you to stay connected while on the move. Each helmet comes with both a clear and dark smoke ICON Optics Shield, along with a dark smoke Dropshield, giving you versatility for different riding conditions.
