ICON Pinlock ProtecTINT Lens - Transition

The ICON Pinlock ProtecTINT Lens is an essential upgrade for any rider looking to improve visibility and comfort during their rides. Designed specifically for use with Pinlock-prepared shields on Icon helmets, this replacement insert lens utilizes advanced moisture-absorbing plastic that keeps the surface dry, reducing fogging and enhancing your field of vision. This means you can focus on the road ahead without distractions, regardless of the weather conditions.

One of the standout features of the ProtecTINT Lens is its silicon bead lining, which creates a secure fit within the helmet shield. This ensures that the lens stays in place, providing consistent performance throughout your ride. The design incorporates a pocket of air trapped between the visors, acting as an insulator that helps regulate temperature and further minimizes fogging. This is particularly beneficial during temperature fluctuations, allowing you to maintain clarity and comfort.

Whether you’re navigating through urban traffic or tackling off-road trails, the ICON Pinlock ProtecTINT Lens is engineered to enhance your riding experience. It’s perfect for riders who demand both performance and safety, ensuring that visibility remains uncompromised. With easy installation and compatibility with various Icon helmet models, upgrading your helmet has never been easier.

Investing in the ICON Pinlock ProtecTINT Lens not only improves your vision but also elevates your overall riding experience. Enjoy the ride with confidence, knowing that you have a reliable solution to fogging and visibility issues.

Please Note: The Pinlock ProtecTint Lens requires exposure to UV light in order to transition from clear to a tinted state. Most motorcycle helmet face shields are treated with UV-A and UV-B protective coatings that block most or all UV light from reaching the Pinlock insert. Because of this, the ProtecTint insert may not darken as intended when installed behind a UV-protective motorcycle helmet shield.

The ICON Pinlock ProtecTINT Lens is designed to fit snugly within Pinlock-prepared shields, ensuring a secure installation. It runs true to size and should fit perfectly when new. If you find yourself between sizes, it is advisable to choose the larger option for a more comfortable fit, as the lens should sit flush against the shield to maximize performance.
