The Scorpion EXO-R1 Air Solid Helmet is the same race-proven helmet trusted by professional racers around the world, now offered with a timeless solid-color finish. Developed with input from MotoGP® and World Superbike® competition, the EXO-R1 Air is built around Scorpion's lightweight Ultra-TCT® composite shell. This advanced shell blends fiberglass, aramid, and proprietary poly-resin fibers to provide exceptional impact protection while keeping weight to a minimum for reduced rider fatigue. Certified to both DOT FMVSS 218 and ECE 22.06 standards, it delivers premium protection for both aggressive street riding and track use.

Its aerodynamic shell profile has been refined in the wind tunnel to reduce lift, drag, and buffeting, providing outstanding stability at speed. The advanced Ram-Air ventilation system, large intake vents, rear exhaust spoiler, and internal EPS airflow channels maximize cooling during spirited rides. An optically superior Pinlock®-ready face shield comes installed, while an additional Dark Smoke face shield and a Pinlock® anti-fog insert are included, giving riders excellent visibility in virtually any riding conditions.

Inside, the removable KwikWick® III comfort liner provides moisture-wicking comfort while Scorpion's exclusive AirFit® cheek pad inflation system allows riders to customize cheek pressure for a precise, secure fit. Sizing Info

The Scorpion EXO-R1 Air features an Intermediate Oval (Scorpion Type A) internal shape, making it an excellent fit for riders whose heads are slightly longer front-to-back than side-to-side. Designed as a race-inspired sport helmet, it offers a snug, performance-oriented fit to minimize movement at highway and track speeds.

Measure the circumference of your head approximately one inch above your eyebrows and compare your measurement to the Scorpion size chart. If you're between sizes, choose the smaller size for the most secure performance fit or the larger size if you prefer a little additional comfort for extended street riding. The KwikWick® III liner will naturally conform to your head after several rides, while the AirFit® cheek pad inflation system lets you fine-tune the fit whenever needed.

Helmet Sizing

How to measure: Wrap a soft tape measure around the largest part of your head, approximately one inch above your eyebrows and across the widest portion at the back. Repeat the measurement to confirm it, then use the chart closest to your measurement.

Proper fit: A motorcycle helmet should fit snugly and comfortably with the chinstrap securely fastened. The helmet should move the skin on your forehead when rotated. If it can roll forward far enough for the eye port to move below your brow, it is too loose.

Helmet sizing charts are a starting point. Head shape and individual fit can vary by model.
